Step 1: Log into Your Xero Account 

  • Go to the Xero login page and enter your credentials to access your account. 

Step 2: Access the Xero App Marketplace 

  • Navigate to the App Marketplace from the dashboard by clicking on the App Marketplace link in the main menu. 

Step 3: Search for Stripe Integration 

  • Use the search bar to find Stripe. Click on the Stripe app listing to view integration details. 

Step 4: Start the Integration Process 

  • Click on the Get This App or Connect button to initiate the integration process. You may be prompted to sign in to your Stripe account. 

Step 5: Authorize Xero to Access Your Stripe Account 

  • A pop-up window will appear requesting permission for Xero to access your Stripe account. Click Authorize to grant access. 

Step 6: Configure Integration Settings 

  • Once authorized, you’ll be redirected to Xero. Set your preferences for how you want transactions to sync (e.g., invoice creation, payment reconciliation). 
  • Choose which accounts to use for Stripe transactions in Xero. 

Step 7: Sync Customer Data 

  • Enable options to sync customer information between Stripe and Xero, allowing for seamless invoicing and payment tracking. 

Step 8: Create Invoices with Stripe Payment Links 

  • When creating invoices in Xero, you can now include a Stripe payment link. Go to Business > Invoices > New Invoice. 
  • Fill out the invoice details and toggle on the option to Add Stripe payment link before sending the invoice to your customer. 

Step 9: Receive Payments via Stripe 

  • Customers can now pay directly via the Stripe link included in their invoice. Payments will be processed through Stripe’s secure payment gateway. 

Step 10: Monitor Payments and Reconcile 

  • After payments are received, they will automatically sync with Xero, reducing manual entry. Go to Dashboard > Bank Accounts to view and reconcile transactions, ensuring everything is accounted for accurately. 

By integrating Xero with Stripe, you streamline your payment process, improve cash flow, and enhance the overall customer experience with efficient online payment options.
