Tracking employee time in NetSuite allows businesses to monitor productivity, manage billable hours, and simplify payroll. Here’s how to set it up and use the time tracking feature effectively: 

 

Step 1: Enable Time Tracking 

  • Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features.

Step 5: Approve Time Entries 

  • Managers can review and approve time entries by navigating to Transactions > Employees > Approve Time.

  • Go to Reports > Employees/Time Tracking. 
  • Run reports like Time Tracking by Employee or Time Tracking by Customer to analyze logged hours. 
  • Customize reports to filter by date range, project, or employee.
