Follow these steps to create a quote (sales estimate) in NetSuite: 

Step 1: Log In to NetSuite 

  • Use your credentials to log in to your NetSuite account. 

Step 2: Navigate to the Sales Estimate Page 

  • From the Transactions menu, hover over Sales. 
  • Click on Create Estimates. 

Step 3: Enter Customer Information 

  • Customer: Select the customer for whom you are creating the quote. If it’s a new customer, you can add them by clicking New. 
  • Date: Enter the date of the quote. 
  • Currency: Ensure the correct currency is selected, if applicable. 
  • Memo: Optionally, enter a memo to describe the purpose of the quote. 

Step 4: Add Items to the Quote 

  • Item: In the Item column, choose the product or service you are quoting. 
  • Quantity: Enter the quantity of the item. 
  • Rate: Verify or enter the rate for each item. 
  • Amount: The amount will automatically populate based on the quantity and rate. 

Step 5: Review the Quote 

  • Check the total and review any applied discounts, taxes, or shipping charges. 
  • Add any additional notes or terms to the Message section, if needed. 

Step 6: Save or Print the Quote 

  • After reviewing all the details, click Save to save the quote. 
  • You can also choose to Print or Email the quote directly to the customer.
